L.P.R - LOVE. PROTECT. RESPECT. SERIES 1
PROCESS:
•Digitally render the faces I often conjure in my head.
•Create female form via the use of the heart formation.
•Visually express the need to reinforce love, protection, and respect for the woman.
•Develop the series in stages to embrace women of all ethnicities.
•From the first original complete piece, develop 3 symbols to represent the elements LOVE, PROTECT and RESPECT via a kaleidoscope of shape, form and frequency.
LOVE: Shielded but yet unguarded...Flowing and rounded yet jagged. Simple but yet complicated. All of the lined patterns emanate from the word 'LOVE' used in the design. Convolution.
PROTECT: Structured. Fortress like formations. Interlocking. Strong but still vulnerable at specific points. Ramparts. Lines form somewhat of a defensive human form when looked at from certain angles.
RESPECT: Intricacy, calm, repetition. Patience. Reverence. Lines form kneeling human forms in formation around the center. Foundation.
